CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN — The Cumberland County teacher, coach and commissioner who was recently indicted on sexual battery charges was allegedly found dead.
According to reports, Michael Speich, 55, who was recently indicted on several charges including providing alcohol to a minor and sexual battery by an authority figure was said to have passed away. The news of Speich’s passing was brought up in a county commission meeting Thursday night.
Other reports are declaring that Speich was found in a field at his farm on Westel Rd. Allegedly, Speich was found with a fatal gunshot wound. The body was said to be discovered by neighbors.
Speich was to have an arraignment for his charges on July 8th.
