Crossville Man Wanted On Attempted Murder Charges Taken Into Custody

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN — Authorities say they arrested a man wanted on attempted murder charges following a burglary in Crossville.  

 

Andrew Rich, 29, was taken into custody on Monday, June 3rd and was charged with two counts of attempted 1st Degree Murder and one count of Aggravated Burglary.

 

Rich is accused of entering a home on St. George Drive and shooting through a bedroom door where two other people were hiding.  No one was injured in the shooting.

 

According to reports, Rich fled the scene and led law enforcement on a vehicle pursuit where he was later apprehended.

 

Rich is being held with a $1 million bond.  Police believe the suspect was known by the victims and this was not a random act of violence.
