Police Say They Arrest Naked Man After He Threatened Woman With Knife

ALGOOD, TN –After responding to a domestic disturbance, Algood Police say they chased an unclothed man onto a bike trail.

According to the warrant, on June 6, police responded to an assault report on Quinland Lake Road. Allegedly, the female victim had arrived at a residence with her two minor children when the man, later identified as Corey Mullins, 46, punched the female victim in the face, according to a report. Mullins is then accused of putting a knife up to the victim’s face and telling her to “stop playing with him or he would kill her.”

When police arrived, Mullins reportedly left the residence, without any clothing, and ran 150 yards to a bike trail.

Mullins is charged with Violation of Child Sexual Abuse, Indecent Exposure, Aggravated Assault and Evading Arrest.  No bond has been set at this time.
