All Upper Cumberland veterans can enjoy free lunch Thursday, July 4th in celebration of the nation’s birthday.
Lite Rock 95.9, 106-9 Kicks Country, Rock 93-7, and News Talk 94.1 will join forces with Restorative Health Services to present the Patriotic July 4th Lunch at the Putnam County Courthouse. The lunch will be catered by your Cookeville-area
Sam’s Club and served up by the fine staff at Amerigas.
“For those who have given their time, sweat, heart and mind to serving America, we just want to say thank you,” Stonecom President Larry Stone said. “We can never repay the debts, but we can say how much we appreciate it.”
All veterans from all services from every Upper Cumberland county are invited to the lunch. It is part of the City of Cookeville and Putnam County’s Red, White and Boom Celebration. It will immediately follow the July 4th parade and the July 4th Ceremony, hosted by County Mayor Randy Porter.
Veterans from each branch of the military are invited to be recognized during Cookeville’s annual Independence Day Parade.
Restorative Health Services stands as middle Tennessee’s preferred provider of the full spectrum orthotics, prosthetics and pedorthics. They recently opened offices at 103 North Willow Avenue in Cookeville.
“When Restorative Health Services came in to our market, it became obvious quickly that they, too, wanted to say do something special for our veterans,” Stone said. “They already serve so many vets with the quality care they provide. This
event again shows how they make sure our soldiers are well cared for.”
The free lunch will begin at approximately 11:15am. Bring a blanket or lawn chair toenjoy the parade, ceremony and lunch.
