High School golf started today, July 29, 2019, in the Upper Cumberlands.
On a beautiful summer day, at Golden Eagle Golf Course, the Cavaliers and Lady Cavs teed up against rivals White County Warriors and Warren County Pioneers to challenge the course.
When all the drives, approach shots, chips, putts and duffs were completed and the scores were tallied Cookeville High School takes first place with a score of 304. Followed by White County High School with a 311 and Warren County High School scoring 373.
Individual medalist for CHS was Luke Caldwell with a 72.
In the girls action, CHS wins top honors with a 184 with individual medalist CHS Daniela Pryor with 91.
