All-In Futbol Club TN is excited to host a 3v3 Soccer Tournament to be held in Cookeville, TN on September 28, 2019 in cooperation with McMinnville Special Games, All-In is partnering with organizer, Julia Taylor, a Venturing Scout from McMinnville. “I am working on my Venturing Summit Project and wanted it to be something that could really make a difference and start something that can continue even after my scout years,” says Julia, age 17, “the Venturing Summit Award is the highest award a Venturing Scout may earn through the Boy Scouts of America. I am a senior in high school and have seen the difference McMinnville Special Games has made with my sister, who has special needs, and many others. I wanted to impact McMinnville Special Games with my project.”
A 3v3 Tournament is a soccer tournament where teams of 5- 6 players compete in soccer-style games with slightly different rules.
“The main difference is that the games are much shorter and the field boundaries are smaller. This creates a fast, exciting game where reaction time is everything. We have set up this tournament to accommodate youth teams through adult teams, it should be a great day and will hopefully raise money and awareness for individuals with special needs,” says Davis Draper, Director of Coaching for All-In Futbol Club TN.
