15 High School boys golf teams and 14 girls teams battle the extreme heat and a challenged Golden Eagle Golf Course in the Annual Cookeville High School Early Bird Golf Tournament.
After the finals, putts and score cards were collected the Cavaliers Boys Team make up of Luke Caldwell (overall Medalist in a Playoff with Cumberland Counties Jayon Reed both fired 72),Seth Clayton 74, Joseph Agee 75 and Ethan Vanstratom 77 totaling 298 were the Big Winners! Cumberland County Jets finished up second with a 315.
On the girls side, Cleveland High School came in first with a 148. Lady Raider Hannah Nall was overall Medalist with an outstanding round of 68. Tullahoma High School came in second carding a team total of 158.
