Stockton Owen steps up as the new Cavalier Quarterback.
In a very disappointing loss to new in county rival Upperman High School, Stockton Owen made a big statement on the field as the new QB for Cookeville High School.
Owen was like the energizer bunny as he carried the Cavs with his legs and arm. Stockton also put to rest any doubts about taking a hit. He was like the Timex watch taking a licking and just kept on ticking.
Owen was responsible for 390 yards of CHS total 421 yds on the game. Completing 14 – 18 passes for 208 yds, 1 TD and 1 interception. On the ground, he picked up 182 yds on 18 carries and a TD.
Next up for the Cavaliers will be Livingston Academy with a 35 -2 win over Westmoreland on Friday night.
