Cavaliers travel to Willowbrook Golf Course (site of the state championship) to participate in the Sundrop Golden Classic Golf Tournament.
Cavs and Lady Cavs take advantage of the opportunity to play some really good teams but also get some practice on the course the TSSAA Golf Tournament is played.
In boys action, CHS finished up in second place in the 14 team tournament with a score of 309. Signal Mountain boys won the tournament with a sizzling 5 under par total of 283. Leading the way for Cavs was Luke Caldwell with a 73 followed by Ethan Vanstratum (75), Seth Clayton (80), Joseph Agee (81) and Jakob Smith (85).
In the girls division, the Lady Cavs finished up 4th in a 10 team field. Leading CHS was Lucy Carwile (92), Daniella Pryor (94) and Lexus Julian (102).
