Crossville, TN – The Golf Capital Junior Tour is proud to present the first annual Par
3 league beginning Saturday, September 7 th . The league is designed to offer junior
golfers the opportunity to gain experience in competitive golf during the fall, in a fun
and supportive environment. Participants will register in one of five divisions and
have access to a total of four tournaments being played at Crossville-area courses.
Awards will given in all divisions at each event. All par 3 tournaments are nine hole,
stroke play events, and caddies are permitted for each division. Tournaments will
be September 7,14,21,28. Tee times will begin 3:30-4:00 PM. Information about the
Par 3 league will be posted on Facebook at Crossville Junior Golf.
Cost: Individual tournament fee: $12/tournament.
Divisions: Boys: 7-9, 10-11, 12-14
Girls: 11 and under, 12-14
Age on September 28 th determines players division
Schedule: Saturday, September 7 – Bear Trace @ Cumberland Mountain
Saturday, September 14 – Heatherhurst Crag
Saturday, September 21 – Bear Trace @ Cumberland Mountain
Saturday, September 28 – Lake Tansi
Guidelines:
All Par 3 league tournaments are nine holes, stroke play.
Caddies are permitted for each division.
USGA Rules govern play with the exception of local rules.
The maximum score a golfer can make on a hole is 7
Lift, clean and place is in effect through the general area (one grip length).
Spectators must remain at least 30 yards from the golfers at all times.
Players can be shuttled between holes.
No Shows: Any player who is scheduled to play in a tournament and fails to
show without notifying the tournament director in advance will be charged a
$5 dollar processing fee. Fee will be added to the next tournament entry fee
the player participates in.
