Due to the weather, the dry earth is a potential area for fire. Several areas have now issued burn bans which prohibits all open-source burning.
These areas include Baxter, Cookeville and Gainesboro.
The fire departments will monitor local weather conditions and suspend the bans once the conditions improve.
