This year, 55 Law Enforcement Challenge applications were submitted. In the 11 to 25 officer’s category, Fairfield Glade Police Department took 3 rd Place.

In the 26-45 officer’s category, the City of Crossville Police Department also took 3 rd Place, along with receiving the State’s Underage Alcohol Prevention Award for 2019.

This innovative program is supported by the Tennessee Chiefs of Police and the Tennessee Sheriff’s Association and provides law enforcement agencies with an opportunity to demonstrate how they promote traffic safety initiatives in the communities they serve. The Law Enforcement Challenge allows agencies to learn from one another and establish goals and traffic safety enforcement and education. This is the first year in which the Fairfield Glade Police Department has participated in the Law Enforcement Challenge.

Both agencies wish to thank our Professional Police Officers for their dedication and hard work.
