COOKEVILLE, TN- Phillip Carlen Loftis, 53, of Silver Point, was charged with four counts of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor or exploitation of a minor by electronic means, according to warrants filed in Putnam County.
Loftis allegedly engaged in an online conversation with a law enforcement officer posing as a 13-year-old child.
“During the internet chat, defendant conducted a conversation that included having sexual contact with the minor child,” one warrant states.
Another warrant goes on to state Loftis allegedly exposed his genitals on an online chat to an officer posing as a minor child.
Loftis is being held in the Putnam County Jail on a total of $15,000 bond.
