District 6 Large School Golf Tournament
CHS Sweeps District Tournament
Cavaliers and Lady Cavs use home course advantage (Golden Eagle Golf Course) to card some low scores and capture the District 6 Large School Golf Tournament.
On the boys side, Luke Caldwell, fired a 69 to lead the charge as well as win Individual Medalist. Joseph Agee carded a 74 while Seth Clayton and Jakob Smith both chipped in 77’s. Total team score a 297. White County came in second with a 312 and Soddy Daisy finished third with a 323.
In the girls action, Savannah Pearson fires a career best 81 to lead the Lady Cavs to the title. Hope Homar carded an 89 to give CHS a 170 score. 2 strokes better than Soddy Daisy at 172. Anna Chew from DCHS took Individual Medalist honors with a 73.
