AMS Veterans Program 2019

Principal, Dr. Winningham, and the Redskin Nation honor America’s Veterans as students tell the history of Veterans Day.

CHS JROTC cadets posted the Colors and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

The 7th and 8th grade chorus and band played the National Anthem.  8th grade students recited the Preamble to the Constitution and 7th grade students told what each letter of the word VETERANS means.  Members of the student government gave the history of Veterans Day.

Don Prince sang “God Bless America” and the AMS chorus sang the songs of the branches of armed forces as boy scouts presented the military flags while veterans in attendance stood in honor of their branch of service.

Students from the 6th grade presented the folding of the flag and 5th graders joined Mr. Prince in the singing of “God Bless the USA”.
