Helping Tornado Victims

Several businesses, churches and schools are providing relief for the victims of the storm tomorrow, March 5, 2020.

Tammy Hoover, from Cornerstone Elementary states that they are providing care for any family affected by the tornado. Their care will be from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with breakfast and lunch provided for everyone that shows up, including adults. Feeding times will be a 9 and 12 respectively.  They have a room that will water, food and personal hygiene items that can be picked up during those hours also to any family in need.  They state, “We love you and we will get through this together.”

Double Springs Church of Christ is opening a shelter. Donations of water, snacks, coolers with ice, stand up lights, extension cords, grills to cook warm food beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Also Baxter Church of Christ has clothes to donate to anyone who is in need of clothing (not just the storm victims).   Come to the church,  224 Buffalo Valley Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
