The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 82 year old James L. Hammock. Mr. Hammock is a white male with gray harie and brown eyes. He is 6 ft. 2in. Tall and weighs 195 lbs. Last known contact was with his son last night before bed at their residence on 10275 Scott Lee Rd. in Silver Point, TN. James Hammock has dementia and believes that he may still be in Michigan. He is believed to be wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans. Mr. Hammock may be driving a dark green 2005 Chevy pickup truck with tag #: 1M72V5. He may be en route to Cookeville Regional Medical Center or Michigan.
