Putnam County, TN (August 18, 2020): Approximately 10:30 p.m. the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office began pursuit of Christopher Ballard after receiving calls from Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies of their attempt to apprehend Ballard for outstanding warrants as he crosses into Putnam County, near Pippin Road.
After a search was conducted in the Claude Loftis Road and Plunk Whitson Road area, where Ballard left his vehicle, Ballard was taken into custody for evading arrest, assaulting a Jackson County Deputy, along with other outstanding charges in Jackson County. He is in the Jackson County jail on a $30,000 bond.
