Dogwood Park fountain closed for repairs
COOKEVILLE – Dogwood Park’s interactive fountain is closed due to mechanical issues.
Pumps have malfunctioned and compromised valves and control equipment.
“We’re still evaluating the damage and needed repairs,” Rick Woods, Cookeville Leisure Services director, said.
The fountain will remain closed until repairs can be made.
“We know the fountain is a popular attraction and the timing is unfortunate on a holiday weekend, so we apologize for the inconvenience,” Woods said. “We will work diligently to get it back up and running as soon as we can.”
