The Monterey Wildcats defeated the Jackson County Blue Devils 12-6 in a hard-fought matchup Friday night in Gainesboro.
The 10th ranked Wildcats improved to 4-0 on the season with the win. The Wildcats will now turn their attention towards a Region 4/1A matchup with Jo Byrns (3-3, 1-1). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday night in Cedar Hill.
