The Monterey Wildcats’ 2020 football season came to an end in a 43-14 loss against top-ranked South Pittsburg on Friday night on the road.
The Wildcats battled to make it 21-14 at halftime, but a strong second half by the Pirates put the game away and ended the Wildcats’ season in the second round of the postseason.
The Wildcats ended the season with an overall record of 8-3 and a region record of 4-1.
