New Year’s Baby at Cookeville Regional

Cookeville, Tenn. – As we usher in a new year with 2021, we want to congratulate the first baby born to Angellinna and Brian Frizzell from Gainesboro who welcomed their second child, a baby boy, into the world at 06:22 on 1/1/21 by Dr. Maria Gonzaga of Infinity Women’s Health.  Baby Kaylob Brian Frizzell weighed in at 6 pounds 13.9 ounces and 19 inches long.

The CRMC Auxiliary Gift Shop donated a New Year’s gift bag to celebrate the arrival of the first baby of 2021.

The Birthing Center delivered 1,498 babies in 2020, including 11 sets of twins.  We welcomed 742 girls and 756 boys throughout the year and helped 553 women become first time moms.  Here are a few facts from the past year:

 Earliest Baby Born: 23 weeks

 Latest Baby Born: 42 weeks and 1 day

 Smallest Baby Boy:  Just over 1 pound and 10.75 inches.
