WCSS Honors Recipients of the Year Awards

WCHS Teacher of the Year

White County High School is proud to announce Candice Allen as Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Allen will complete her 7th year of teaching at the end of this school year. Mrs. Allen is a 2007 graduate of WCHS. Mrs. Allen began her teaching career as a English teacher and moved to become the Media teacher five years ago. She also serves as an adjunct instructor for TTU. She received her Bachelors, Masters, and EDS degrees from TTU. She and her husband Michael (also a WCHS grad) have one child.

When describing Mrs. Allen, Principal Greg Wilson describes her as hard working, dedicated to her students, and very creative. Every production of the Warrior Media program has a touch of Mrs. Allen’s creativity. She is a vital part of the WCHS vision to be the best.

WCHS is very proud to have Mrs. Allen on their faculty. This was demonstrated by their choosing Mrs. Allen as Teacher of the Year. She is a great example of the Warrior Spirit and Warrior Pride.
