Cookeville, TN – On March 15, 2021, Cookeville Police Officers were called to the area of 1100 England Drive after a concerned citizen found a deceased male in the parking lot. Detectives initiated an investigation and identified the male as 46-year-old Russell D. Crabtree of Cookeville.
At this point in the investigation, no foul play is suspected. Mr. Crabtree’s body was sent for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. This investigation is still on-going.
The Cookeville Police Department is asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around the area of 1100 England Drive between the evening of March 14th and the early morning hours of March 15th to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 931-520-5322.
