Cookeville, TN – At approximately 12:30 PM on March 30, 2021, officers responded to a residence on Boatman Street in reference to a possible shooting.
As a precaution, officers also responded to Park View School because if it’s close proximity to the scene. The school was placed on a temporary lock-down by staff until the scene was secured due to the serious nature of this type of incident.
While the investigation is ongoing, the incident appears to limited to the residence in question and presents no threat to the public at this time. If anyone has information concerning this incident, please contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 931-520-5322.
