Algood’s Sean Montgomery Recognized For Great Sportsmanship

From Algood Middle School Principal Bubba Winningham:

Congrats to 5th grader Sean Montgomery! His kindness was noticed and appreciated last week! We are proud of the way he represented our school.

We received a text from about his helpfulness and encouragement to a golfer from an opposing team last week- it read.. “Hey Dr. Winningham, my son played his first golf match ever yesterday. He is new to the sport so he didn’t play well, but we got paired up with the coolest fifth grader at AMS. Sean Taylor Montgomery was absolutely one of the best sports and had the best sportsmanship with (student) the entire round! Coach Gotcher was super helpful to him as well, but I can’t brag enough about Sean Taylor and how he handled himself yesterday and how he represented your school. It was an incredible experience for our first match. I know you all would have been proud of how he played and gracefully cheered on his opponent.”

Due to his kindness, good sportsmanship, and overall great attitude – he was treated to Longhorns! Keep it up Sean!
