2021 PCSS Teacher Of The Years Honored

PUTNAM COUNTY, TENN. – The Putnam County School System honored the 2021 Teachers of the Year at a luncheon May 3 during National Teacher Appreciation Week.

“We were so honored to recognize these wonderful teachers. They are the best of the best in our schools this year and we had a wonderful afternoon honoring them,” said Corby King, Director of Schools.

Every year a teacher from each district level is chosen as the District Teacher of the Year.

The 2021 recipients for the Putnam County School System District Teacher of the Year were:

  • Elementary – Haley McCulley, Algood Elementary School
  • Middle- Brian Webster, Prescott South Elementary School
  • Secondary – Claudia Zavala, Cookeville High School
