From press release:
Cookeville, TN – At approximately 4:00 PM on May 19, 2021, officers responded to the Super 8 Motel at 440 Neal Street in reference to a shooting incident. It was determined that three males had robbed a guest at gunpoint taking the victims drugs and money before fleeing the scene.
Officers quickly located two of the fleeing suspects running east on Neal Street where they were taken into custody. The third suspect has not been located at this time.
Javone N. Williams (20) of McCalla, Alabama and Christopher H. Stevenson (19) of Knoxville, Tennessee were charged with Aggravated Robbery. They are each being held at the Putnam County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
