PUTNAM COUNTY, TENN.- The Putnam County Board of Education will be holding a special
meeting on Thursday, Sept. 2, at 4:45 p.m., in the boardroom of the District Services Building, at
1400 E. Spring St., in Cookeville. The purpose of the hearing is to comply with the Family Life
Curriculum requirements of Tennessee Code Annotated, which are found in Tennessee Code
Annotated S49-6-1301-1304.
Family Life Curriculum materials will be available for review on Thursday, Sept. 2 from
3:30 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. at the District Services Building prior to the hearing.
