The Upperman Lady Bees earned their second win of the soccer season on Tuesday night when they topped the White County Warriorettes 2-1 in Sparta.
The Lady Bees raced out to an early 2-0 lead and held on to get their second win over Sparta this season.
“It was a good outing tonight,” said UHS head coach Mark Herberman. “We came out strong and scored two quick goals.”
Emma Parris scored both goals for UHS early in the first half. The Warriorettes responded late in the first half to cut the deficit to 2-1.
The Lady Bees controlled possession throughout the second half as they secured the win.
Upperman will return to action Thursday night when they host Dekalb County at 6:00.
The Warriorettes will host Cumberland County on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
