The children will get the chance to shop with a P.A.L cop + more on National First Responder’s Day
WHO: Academy Sports + Outdoors, Cookeville Police Athletic League (PAL), Various First Responder Organizations
WHAT: On National First Responders Day, Academy Sports + Outdoors will surprise 36 children from local area schools with a $4,000 shopping spree. Each child will receive a $115 gift card to shop with a P.A.L. cop and other first responders from around the community to select new gear, clothes, games and more.
PAL chapters work to promote the prevention of juvenile crime and violence by building relationships among kids, cops, and community through positive engagement.
Academy Sports + Outdoors is a proud partner of National P.A.L and is pleased to support the Cookeville chapter as they create new opportunities for local children to have fun and enjoy sports and outdoor activities.
Additionally, Academy Sports + Outdoors is offering military and first responders 10% off purchases in store and online from Oct 24 – Nov 14 to say thank you for all that they do for the community.
