‘Double Your Donation Day’ Critical Need for Cookeville Regional Foundation

Cookeville, Tenn. – Double Your Donation Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 9, and will benefit patients helped by Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation. Gifts made in support of a patient assistance fund or charitable program will be matched dollar for dollar on Double Your Donation Day.

Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation helps several thousand residents of the Upper Cumberland each year who are suffering with disease, sickness or injury. The Foundation frequently assists low-income and under-insured patients with things like medication, transportation, specialty equipment, groceries, preventative services, utilities, and other critical medical and home needs.

Established patient assistance funds include: Heart, Hospice, Pediatric, Cancer, Diabetes, Mental Health and General Fund-Caring Hands. Established programs include: Pink Ribbon, Lung Fund, Pet Therapy, Art for Healing, Community Health and Carmen’s Fund.

One hundred percent of donations made to the Foundation go directly to charitable programs and services that assist residents living in the 14 counties of the Upper Cumberland.

“We are asking everyone to give what they can, and see that gift doubled as a blessing to help neighbors facing a health emergency today,” said John Bell, Foundation director. “A $20 gift becomes $40 to help a patient; a $100 gift becomes $200 and so on.”

Gifts made as a part of Double Your Donation Day will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $30,000. Gifts may be made online at www.CookevilleRegionalCharity.org, by calling 931-783-2003 or by sending a check to CRMC Foundation, 1 Medical Center Blvd, Cookeville TN 38501 with a date of Nov. 9 indicated on the check.
