Cookeville, TN – At approximately 6:30 PM on January 31, 2022, officers with the Cookeville Police Department responded to a local jewelry store in reference to a Theft call. It was determined that two females had taken jewelry worth more than $27,000.00.
Detectives with the Cookeville Police Department initiated an investigation into the incident and identified the females as Andreia Anghel and Marioara Munteanu. The females have been connected to jewelry distraction thefts across the US.
The Cookeville Police Department has active warrants for the arrests of Anghel and Munteanu for Theft, a Class C Felony. Anyone with information about the location of either subject should notify the police by contacting their local law enforcement agency.
