The White County Warriorettes will be on the road for Substate after falling 13-1 in the Region 4-3A Championship to Lincoln County on Wednesday.

The Lady Falcons opened the scoring with a run in the first inning, and then exploded for a four-run, two-out rally in the second to push the lead to 5-0.

White County managed to keep Lincoln County off the board in the third inning, but the Lady Falcons went right back to work in the fourth with two more runs to push the lead to 7-0.

Sparta failed to record a hit in the first four innings, and Lincoln proceeded to hang three more runs on the board in the fifth to take a commanding 10-0 lead.

The Warriorettes finally scratched a run across on a Maddie Rust sacrifice fly to extend the game in the bottom of the fifth, but Lincoln County put the game away with a another three-run inning in the sixth to bring the score to its final total of 13-1.

Caydra Parker and Addison Abell recorded the lone hits for White County, as the Warriorettes will be at Soddy Daisy on Friday for Substate action.
