Monterey High School’s Tre Monette rewrote the school history books Wednesday afternoon as he scored a school-record 61 points in an 88-69 victory over Patel High School (FL).
Monette hit 21-22 free throws and 6 three-pointers in the victory. He had 17 points after the first quarter and 32 points at halftime. A 15-point third quarter left Monette with 47 after three quarters before he closed with 14 in the fourth, totaling 61 points.
