The Clay County Bulldogs’ historic football season came to a close Friday afternoon in Chattanooga as CCHS fell to McKenzie in the Class 1A state championship, 34-14.
Clay County finishes their season at 13-2 overall. The Bulldogs won the Region 4-1A championship and made their first state championship game appearance in school history.
