The Stone Memorial Panthers improved to 10-1 overall Saturday as they defeated Apostolic Christian, 80-62.
Panther sophomore Cade Capps dropped 28 points in the victory, followed by 17 by senior Matthew Bilbrey.
Each offense came out strong as the game was tied at 18 following the first quarter. Stone Memorial’s offense stayed red-hot in the second period as they took a 41-30 lead into halftime.
The Panthers cruised in the second half as they led 60-48 after three quarters and won by an 80-62 final.
The 10-1 Panthers are in action next at the Maryville Christmas Classic next week.
