MURFREESBORO – Senior Upperman pitcher and left fielder Eli Huddleston was named the 2023 Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Class 3A Mr. Baseball at a ceremony in Murfreesboro on Tuesday.
The Mr. Baseball award is given to the player who is deemed to have the best regular season in their respective classification.
The Tennessee Tech signee is currently 8-0 with a 0.36 ERA with 95 strikeouts and 7 walks. At the plate he is batting .366 with 52 RBIs.
Huddleston has led the Bees to their second straight state tournament appearance along with the 2022 Class 3A state championship.
