The 2023 Golf Capital Junior Tour kicked off the 2023 summer season at Lake Tansi Golf Course on May 30 as 34 golfers from the Upper Cumberland area teed it up.
Division winners are as follows:
16-18 Boys: Landon Raines (Monterey) 81, Brant Kardatzke (Cookeville) 84, Gavin Godsey (Baxter) 90.
16-18 Girls: Sarah Bass (Crossville) 80, Chloe Boyd (Dekalb Co.) 81*, Abigail Scoggins (Jackson Co.) 81.
13-15 Boys: Hayden Weaver (Kingston) 46*, Fischer Leftwich (Baxter) 46, Braelin Roberts (White Co.) 52.
10-12 Boys: Van Redmon (Bloomington Springs) 38*, Landry Moses (Cookeville) 38, Carter Redmon 44.
8-9 Boys: Remington Cooper (Crossville) 45, Kooper Reecer (Baxter) 46, Finn Patterson (Crossville) 54
The GCJT will be at Fall Creek Falls June 5 and Cumberland Cove on June 8. Spots are still available for youth golfers from the Upper Cumberland and surrounding areas. For more information on the GCJT, contact tournament director Randy Herring at 931-248-2248.
