The White County Warriors and Upperman Lady Bees were each victorious in their head-to-head matches on Thursday.
Sparta was paced by Lucas Dickerson’s 73, followed by Kade Sparks’ 82. Jackson Young shot an 83, and Rhett Anderson fired in a 93 to give the Warriors a cumulative score of 331.
This edged out Upperman, led by Aiden Wyatt’s 80, by just three strokes as the Bees finished with a score of 334.
For the girls, the Lady Bees followed up their season-opening win with another one, as they finished with a score of 186 to take down White County (192). Bryanna Herron led the way with a 90, while Sydney Rogers shot a 96 to total the final score.
Keely Cunningham fired a 93 to lead White County on the day.
