The Cumberland County Lady Jet soccer team finished their week on a high note as they defeated the visiting Oliver Springs Lady Bobcats in non-district action, 4-3.
Lady Jet junior forward Peyton Dunlap led the Lady Jets with two goals including the game’s first at the 22:50 remaining mark of the first half.
Oliver Springs answered with 1:37 left in the period to tie the game at 1 goal each going into halftime.
Cumberland County pulled away in the second half behind goals Jesla Uribe, Arial Baker and a second from Dunlap to secure the 4-3 victory over the Lady Bobcats.
Next for the Lady Jets is a trip northeast to face Oneida in non-district play on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 5 p.m. CST.
