The Livingston Academy Lady Wildcats hit the road for District 7AA play Tuesday evening as they left Crossville with a 3-1 victory over the Cumberland County Lady Jets.
After taking the first set 25-17, Cumberland County stormed back to win the second set 30-28 on back-t0-back Dalayna Inman kills to even the match at 1-1.
Livingston Academy weathered the storm, however, as the Lady Wildcats went on to win the final two sets 25-20 and 25-15 to pick up the 3-1 victory.
The District 7AA victory keeps Livingston Academy firmly in second place behind undefeated Stone Memorial.
Up next for Cumberland County is a home district match against Watertown on Thursday while Livingston Academy is scheduled to take a week off before hosting Stone Memorial next Thursday, Sept. 21.
