Nine Upper Cumberland boys basketball teams won their region tournament quarterfinal game Saturday night and will advance to the semifinals on Tuesday, including district rematches.
Region 3-1A
Van Buren County defeated Copper Basin 72-52 and will face Chattanooga Prep on Tuesday at home at 6 p.m.
Region 4-1A
Pickett County defeated Knowledge Academies 63-43
Red Boiling Springs won at East Robertson, 71-54
Gordonsville defeated Meroll Hyde 70-43
Pickett County will face Red Boiling Springs on Tuesday at 6 p.m. while Gordonsville will play Jo Byrns at 7:30 at East Robertson.
Region 3-2A
Jackson County defeated Trousdale County 63-46
Smith County defeated Westmoreland 57-40
Smith County will face Jackson County on Tuesday at Liberty Creek at 6 p.m.
Region 4-3A
Upperman defeated Marshall County, 69-52
Stone Memorial defeated Central Magnet, 60-53
Upperman will face Stone Memorial on Tuesday at Tullahoma at 6 p.m.
Region 4-4A
Cookeville defeated Rockvale 72-52 and will face Siegel Tuesday at Oakland at 7:45 p.m.
