Cookeville is set to host the 10th annual Red White & Boom Independence Day celebration on Thursday, July 4, with livestreams of the parade, concerts and fireworks show available via Upper Cumberland Reporter.
Red White & Boom is scheduled to open with a parade near the Putnam County Courthouse at 10 a.m. followed by a patriotic ceremony at 10:30.
The rest of the festivities take place at the Putnam County Fairgrounds with gates opening at 3 p.m. The fairgrounds will feature more than 20 food trucks and vendors along with free activities including bounce houses and cornhole.
Concerts begin at 5:30 p.m. with Jake Hoot followed by Jesse Rice at 7. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:05 p.m.
UCR’s livestream content begins with the parade at 10 a.m. followed by the concerts at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9:05 p.m.
