The Stone Memorial Lady Panthers improved to 4-0 in District 7-2A Thursday night via a 3-2 victory at Cumberland County.
The Lady Panthers scored all three goals in a 4 minute and 33 second outburst in the first half as Casey Hepburn opened the contest with a header for a goal via a pass from Jayne Warlick at the 28:50 mark of the first half.
Warlick scored a goal of her own two minutes later as she connected on a free kick from outside the box to give Stone Memorial a 2-o lead with 26:43 remaining in the opening frame.
Hepburn found the back of the net for her second goal of the night less than two minutes later to give Stone Memorial a 3-0 lead with 24:17 left in the first half.
Cumberland County got on the board with 13:16 left in the period as Camille Tanner scored on a corner kick to make the score 3-1 at halftime.
Lady Jet junior Molly Neal tacked on a goal in the second half, but Stone Memorial ultimately held on to win by a 3-2 final score.
Cumberland County is scheduled to host White County on Tuesday while Stone Memorial hosts Livingston Academy.
