The 2024 high school football regular season wrapped up Friday evening with 11 area schools advancing to the TSSAA playoffs in 4 different classifications.

Class 1A

#4 Red Boiling Springs (2-8) at #1 South Pittsburg (8-2). Winner faces Gordonsville/Chattanooga Prep winner

#3 Chattanooga Prep (7-3) at #2 Gordonsville (6-4). Winner faces RBS/South Pittsburg winner

#4 Sale Creek (4-6) at #1 Clay County (8-2). Winner faces Jo Byrns/Whitwell winner

 

Class 2A

#4 Hampton (3-6) at #1 York Institute (8-2). Winner faces Polk County/Happy Valley winner

#4 Smith County (2-8) at #1 Marion County (8-2). Winner faces Fayetteville/East Robertson winner

#3 Monterey (7-3) at #2 Forrest (6-4). Winner faces Westmoreland/Cannon County winner

Class 4A

#4 Signal Mountain at #1 Upperman (UCR3). Winner faces Macon County/Soddy Daisy winner

#3 Red Bank at #2 White County (UCR2). Winner faces Loudon/Stone Memorial winner
