Week 2 of the high school football regular season is officially in the books, and with it comes a selection of top performers from across the Upper Cumberland:
Noah Potter (Stone Memorial QB)
Potter went 20-34 for 238 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air and rushed for 45 yards and a score in Stone Memorial’s 48-41 overtime win at Coalfield.
Kaden Weitzel (Livingston RB)
Weitzel rushed for 218 yards and 4 touchdowns while also catching a 9-yard touchdown pass in Livingston’s 38-3 win over Warren County.
Bronzden Chaffin (Upperman QB)
Chaffin rushed for 150 yards and 3 touchdowns while going 11-18 for 127 yards and a touchdown through the air in Upperman’s 41-33 loss to Greeneville.
AJ Vandever (Stone Memorial RB)
Vandever rushed for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns in Stone Memorial’s 48-41 overtime victory at Coalfield.
Tucker Pinion (White Co. QB)
Pinion went 6-7 for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns in White County’s 35-14 win at York Institute.
Matthew Wheeley (Macon Co. QB)
Wheeley rushed for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns in his team’s 35-15 win at Westmoreland.
