The Cumberland County Lady Jet soccer team improved to 2-0 in District 7-2A action Monday evening as they defeated Upperman, 6-0.
Molly Neal scored two goals and an assist in the victory.
Sophia Martinez opened the contest with a goal at the 30:54 mark via an assist from Palmyra White-Gutierrez, giving the Lady Jets a 1-0 lead. Neal scored her first goal of the evening with 12:02 remaining in the first half to give Cumberland County a 2-0 lead at the break.
Cumberland County found the back of the net four times in the second half on goals from Neal, Hailey Hyder, Riley Kilgore and Kloey Moomey with Neal and Hyder assisting on two of the goals.
The Lady Jets are scheduled to host Livingston Academy on Thursday while Upperman hosts White County.
