The Gordonsville Tigers (16-13, 5-3) added some more hardware to the trophy case on Monday as they defeated #1 overall seed Jo Byrns in the District 8-1A championship game, 46-42.
J Foster was named tournament MVP while Aidan Miller, Camrix Stott, Isaac Agee and Brooks Stafford were named to the all-tournament team.
Gordonsville will host their first-round matchup in the Region 4-1A tournament quarterfinals on Saturday against the loser of the District 7-1A consolation game between Clay County and Clarkrange.
