Girls
1. Stone Memorial (24-3, 7-1)
Stone Memorial went a perfect 3-0 on the road last week as they won at Upperman, Cumberland County and Class 2A #1 York Institute. The Lady Panthers return to action this week in the District 7-3A tournament.
2. Cookeville (23-3, 7-1)
Cookeville won their sixth consecutive game last week as they defeated Lincoln County and Class 2A #1 York Institute. The Lady Cavaliers return to action this week in the District 6-4A tournament.
3. White County (26-4, 6-2)
White County won in overtime at Van Buren County on Monday and defeated Livingston on Friday. The Warriorettes close out the regular season at Class 2A #1-ranked York Institute on Monday.
4. York Institute (22-5, 6-0)
The Dragonettes won at Pickett County in overtime to start the week before falling at Class 4A Cookeville and at home against Class 3A #1 Stone Memorial. York hosts Class 3A #3 White County on Monday.
5. Van Buren County (23-4, 6-0)
The Eaglettes enter the UC top 5 this week at 23-4 overall and undefeated in District 6A play. Van Buren County closed out the regular season with a 61-47 win at Meigs County last week.
Honorable Mentions: Pickett County (17-10, 8-0), Upperman (21-7, 4-4)
Boys
1. Upperman (23-5, 8-0)
Upperman went 2-0 this week with wins over Stone Memorial and Cannon County. The Bees will host Cannon County on Monday to close out the regular season
2. Pickett County (26-3, 8-0)
Pickett County cruised to wins over York Institute and Red Boiling Springs to close out the regular season.
3. Jackson County (22-5, 6-2)
Jackson County defeated Monterey and the TN Heat this week to close out the regular season.
4. Stone Memorial (17-8, 6-2)
The Stone Memorial Panthers went 2-1 this week as they fell to #1 Upperman before defeating #5 Cumberland County and York Institute. Stone is off until District 7-3A tournament action.
5. Cumberland County (18-8, 4-4)
The Cumberland County Jets split a pair of District 7-3A games this week as they defeated Livingston Academy and fell to #4 Stone Memorial. The Jets are scheduled to play at Knox Central and Alcoa to start the week before entering District 7-3A tournament play.
